A 2nd electrafi user installed .50 today.

A low VIN R1S in Illinois. So obviously a company owned vehicle. This vehicle got .42 5 days before the public roll out.

So it looks like 50 might get a public roll out early next week.

Almost everyone on the Forum is waiting for 2023.50.

The post right before yours provides reasonable guidance for public (not Rivian-owned or employee) availability:

R1T could still use a bit of this black magic too.....better than the initial days...but still a bit high on the impact harshness.

Why not buy a range rover if that's what you want?

My last 5 suv were Range Rovers. They didn't have an EV when I put my deposit down in 2019 on a Rivian. I love the R1s it's just a bit on the harsh side. An would love a heated front glass again, and maybe something to deal with the ice build up on the lights. Hopeful but we will see, I may go back to the Range Rover EV when they pull it off.
