... The front trunk. I don't think it is getting the love it deserves across all EVs but the Rivian, specifically.

Some people (fools!) don't utilize nor care about the front trunk. Little do they realize, one can fit a pizza large enough for a family of four in there, meaning I don't have to have a pizza-smelling cabin for two days until it dissipates.

I use it for Costco runs and a full plastic tote fits, I use it for grocery runs, I store some random crap under the fold-a-floor.

Any EV without a proper front trunk is doing it wrong.

Let's hear it for the front trunk and all it's convenience!

I may be in the minority, but I prefer the frunk having a high front (not like the F150) because, I think fewer objects will roll around and there’s less risk of hitting someone in the head when the frunk top/hood closes
While I generally agree, I have gotten all manner of bugs and dirt on my clothes while lifting stuff into the frunk on a road trip.

Love the frunk! Can you fit a Costco pizza in there though? We ended up getting like 10 Costco pizza’s for my daughter’s party and just put them on the bed. They all survived ok.

I had a slow cooker full of pulled pork tip over in there the other day. That was fun to clean up. I wish there were a few more tie down points in there.
You still ate it, didn’t you?

That's one of the weird things about the Cybertruck is that very open frunk. I don't have a Rivian yet. I use my Model 3 rear sub trunk to store the rollable or fragile groceries. And I feel like the CT frunk is just so short that you could barely put anything in there, and then when you got home, it'd probably fall right out. I'm looking forward to filling my Rivian frunk with a Costco run of groceries. Think it'll fit?

I've gotten a pretty large amount of stuff in that frunk.

Unclear. I must try. You know, for science

I guess it depends on what kind of Costco shopper you are. As long as you're not getting TP or paper towels and stick to the basics that still somehow cost $300, you're good!

I love the frunk! We pick up carry-out two to three times a week and before my R1T, my previous truck would smell like pizza, Thai food, French fries, whatever, all week long. Now I just pop the hood and put it all in the frunk.

That said, make sure you use recycled air or don’t pop the hood until you’re out. Otherwise, if you pop the hood from inside, all that trapped, concentrated stinky air goes right into the intake (ever smell your minty windshield washer fluid while driving down the highway?).

Holy cow pro tip here! I never pop it from inside but it stands to reason some do.
