That's one of the weird things about the Cybertruck is that very open frunk. I don't have a Rivian yet. I use my Model 3 rear sub trunk to store the rollable or fragile groceries. And I feel like the CT frunk is just so short that you could barely put anything in there, and then when you got home, it'd probably fall right out. I'm looking forward to filling my Rivian frunk with a Costco run of groceries. Think it'll fit?
Depends on how much groceries you buy haha. YMMV ?

I just love that I can pick up a six pack on the way to collecting the dog from day care and put it in the frunk. Thus both keeping a hazard free trunk for the dog and keeping 100% legal by not having an alcoholic beverage accessible sat in the rear footwell.

Love the frunk! Can you fit a Costco pizza in there though? We ended up getting like 10 Costco pizza’s for my daughter’s party and just put them on the bed. They all survived ok.
I have fit 5 Costco pizzas in one stack but the question would really be can they fit side by side to make 10?

the nice thing about putting hot food in the front trunk is that it doesn’t smell the cab. But when you get to your destination, open the trunk from the screen and you get a hit of the smell through the vents.

Okay, I have had my R1T for 18 months. I have learned to back into parking to utilize the trunk. Also, I ask people, especially truck guys, where do you put stuff in a truck when you buy things? The bed or back seat right? With rivian you can have your cake and eat it too. You get truck features and a trunk (and heck, a gear tunnel too). I love my truck. 1.5 years and I still am in honeymoon phase.

Great place for ice scrapers and such.

Love that we can put our luggage in the frunk and free up the rest of the vehicle for adventure equipment. For a long trip we may even utilize the sub-frunk.

Only complaint is the frunk is too big. Unless it's Costco, the groceries roll around.

Love the frunk. Use it all the time.

I’d love it that much more if it had the same opening maw as the Lightning.
I'd even accept the whole frunk being shifted forward so it's the same volume, just with the back wall pushed forward to compensate for the front wall disappearing.

The frunk is one of my favorite parts about the R1S. When travelling, it's where all the dog food goes rather than stinking up the whole car. When the dogs aren't in the car, all of their stuff goes there as well, allowing the car to not smell like dog all the time. I also keep all of my car cleaning stuff up there - nice to have it handy to touch things up whenever I have time.

I may be in the minority, but I prefer the frunk having a high front (not like the F150) because, I think fewer objects will roll around and there’s less risk of hitting someone in the head when the frunk top/hood closes
Not just that, I would imagine it is way stronger in a head on collision with a lifted (extender)truck.

It fits all my Costco runs, except the bath tissue/paper towels. Depends on how much you buy at a time of course.

I mocked it and minimized it before I got my R1T. I figured it would be nice, but that I'd rarely actually use it. So wrong. Perfect for pizza. Groceries, my go bag, hiking gear, etc all fits and is so accessible. I have humbly apologized to my truck multiple times.

Its a truck with a trunk. One of the things I explain to people I show the truck that I really enjoy.
