Hah. David and I have a joke that two R1S's would buy our company.Rivian should just pay you guys to supply the fix for all the vehicles.
I wouldn’t assume. What’s the difference between these current ones versus the qi2 design if they both charge at full wireless speed? If you are one of the first 18'ish orders we are assuming you were ok with just the magsafe or JSAUX design (which btw works great and has no issues at all and charges at full wireless speed).
Functionally there's no difference between the first version of this new charger and the one that accepts the Anker charger. Both charge at full speed and have no issues charging the phones.I wouldn’t assume. What’s the difference between these current ones versus the qi2 design if they both charge at full wireless speed?
Correct you are outside that.I just ordered one 5 minutes ago. I’m assuming I won’t be one of the “first 18”? If I am correct, I’ll be ordering the Anker pucks. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply!Correct you are outside that.
Thanks for the clarification!Functionally there's no difference between the first version of this new charger and the one that accepts the Anker charger. Both charge at full speed and have no issues charging the phones.
We are trying to support both the qi 2 standard and magsafes at the same time. It just so happened Anker decided to finally release their qi 2 chargers in the middle of this release.
STL? I’m ignorant on this abvr!Boo, understandable but unfortunate. Id pay a moderate price for the STL too. But business is business.
Picked one up this weekend to check it out. No joke...that is one chunky charging puck! If the magnets are stronger, it's minimally so. But they are cheaper than the Apple pucks.Larger size...interesting. So are the magnets any stronger than Magsafe and does it still work with current iPhones?
That's the file needed for printing the unit yourself on your 3D printer.STL? I’m ignorant on this abvr!
I'm hoping hot weather performance is improved too. Apple Magsafe pucks has a tendency to trip the heat protection during the summer.Picked one up this weekend to check it out.
