Rivian should just pay you guys to supply the fix for all the vehicles.
Hah. David and I have a joke that two R1S's would buy our company.

If you are one of the first 18'ish orders we are assuming you were ok with just the magsafe or JSAUX design (which btw works great and has no issues at all and charges at full wireless speed).
I wouldn’t assume. What’s the difference between these current ones versus the qi2 design if they both charge at full wireless speed?

I just ordered one 5 minutes ago. I’m assuming I won’t be one of the “first 18”? If I am correct, I’ll be ordering the Anker pucks. Thanks!

Functionally there's no difference between the first version of this new charger and the one that accepts the Anker charger. Both charge at full speed and have no issues charging the phones.

We are trying to support both the qi 2 standard and magsafes at the same time. It just so happened Anker decided to finally release their qi 2 chargers in the middle of this release.

Correct you are outside that.

For anyone ordering today. You are looking at approximately 2 weeks before we ship your order. I am currently making these like crazy. Only thing slowing me down is that my flock that was supposed to show up Friday hasn't arrived yet.

Larger size...interesting. So are the magnets any stronger than Magsafe and does it still work with current iPhones?
Picked one up this weekend to check it out. No joke...that is one chunky charging puck! If the magnets are stronger, it's minimally so. But they are cheaper than the Apple pucks.

I'm hoping hot weather performance is improved too. Apple Magsafe pucks has a tendency to trip the heat protection during the summer.

I agree. The magnets are minimally stronger but I noticed it through the veneer. All in all a solid option and 22 bucks is well worth it in my opinion.
