As far as I'm aware of, there isn't one that both takes straight 12V and fits in the space constraints. My suggestion is to use an adapter to go to USB-C. I've validated and sell this:

Two different options are included with the power kit to connect it to the 12V in the truck. One is soldered (but more robust) and the other is screw together (easier, but slightly more finicky to get setup)

I took inspiration from some of the other versions (likely yours as well) and created a single charging puck and key/wallet tray mod.

I wonder if there are others like me who simply need one charging pad - mostly due to second USB port in console is dedicated to camera storage. Also passengers prefer the ability to use phone while charging and use direct cable through back of headrest USB C port.

Sharing in case if there’s demand your floating version would be perfect with even more storage options.

i'm looking to modify this with a usb-c jack. the magsafe chargers don't charge fast enough on my phone (android with magsafe case). i think getting a usb-a male to usb-c female cable. would that work with that buck convertor? for the times i need quick charge, i can use the cable. thoughts?

Maybe. USB-C is a bit weird. There is some variability in the content of the cables and the items that would potentially plug into it. The buck converter is pretty robust though, so I'd say it's a definite shmaybe.

That is the old part that we used, up until Q3 23. We now buy an updated model more direct, but this item will still work.

It's theoretically rated up to 30W per port should whatever plugged into it support the correct QC 3.0 power output. Realistically, I've only seen up to 15W per port, which is the max for the charging pads that I've tested. If I recall correctly, these are somewhat basic regarding the combinations of voltage and amperage that it can do, so YMMV.

It's a direct wire to wire setup that is solder free and does away from the slightly finnicky screw together design. It uses the updated Molex W2W corrector and genuine automotive Tyco GET connectors, and it's the same $35 price

Excellent. I'm in the "1-3 weeks" limbo for my R1S that I ordered from the shop. When I get a delivery date set, I'll place my order. I'm curious about how the black parts will look with teh FE interior. I have a Voron 2.4R2, I can reprint in another color if needed.

before i rip out my console, if anyone has the buck converter and newish android phone, can you plug it directly into the buck converter to see if you get super fast charge mode? thanks in advance.

Update:

I've sort of eluded to it a few times, but I've been experimenting with different materials and and finishes over the last month or so in preparation for in-housing some of the production for OpenSource EV. I'll have a newsletter about it this upcoming week - if you're interested in hearing more about it, the subscribe link is at the bottom of OpenSourceEV.com.

Anyway, earlier today I was testing a carbon fiber containing material along with a carbon fiber pattern bed. The CF material is pretty great -- likely overkill for that applications that I would potentially use it for, but great regardless.

The CF bed, I'm a bit more mixed on. In a vacuum, I think it looks pretty dope. In the Rivian, I'm not sure it fits. My son thinks it's awesome. I told him that I would post it and see what other Rivian owners think.

So, what say you - dope or nope?

I just got off the waitlist of adventure tech charger and same time found your product. Huge price difference.
different material would be great and if the storage compartment pad had like a smoother finish

Or use skins like how twraps has for more oem look? I guess you can print and sell some skins to existing users of your ultimate charger.
