The Tesla SC cost near me is $0.36 per kWh.
Took a trip into OR and ID not long ago:

Moses Lake, WA: $0.29
Kennewick, WA: $0.27
Pendleton: $0.44
Baker City, OR: $0.28
Boardman, OR: $0.31
Yakima, WA: $0.40
Ellensburg, WA: $0.36

The mighty Columbia river bet has a lot to do with fairly lower prices in that general area and a great part of WA state compared to other places. Baker City the good odd man out.

Being in California, I just assume that any time I use a fast-charging station it's going to cost around as much as a tank of gas (assuming 91 Octane prices).

For a "full" charge session, I've never paid less than $40 in California unless it was free. I naively assumed this was normal!

Almost a dollar a kWh is absolutely insane. The hell is going on here.

Wow, those were the prices when I drove through there. Are you sure?
Not disputing it.
Agreed on which are open to Rivian, but it does not make it necessarily worse for charging my R1S. Indeed, charging my Tesla in Kennewick, EA has chargers right next to Tesla's. Two Rivians were charging there when I stopped to charge my Tesla. CCS charging options are not bad, apparently. As a matter of fact, planning a trip into northern MT, CCS fast.charhing is a better option!

Your posted rates are the Tesla/Tesla membership rates; the "corrections" are the non-Tesla rates (at least for the SCs I checked).

Ah, there's that, yes. Thanks.
Adding my Rivian to the Tesla app was transparent to me; same charging cost for eother my Tesla or R1S.

Friends that live in that area and have an EV say their home rate is $0.02/kWhr. So jealous.

Thank the mighty Columbia for that. Mine is just under $0.07 per kWh. And if I travel in my Model S, rate at superchargers is $0.00.

Yeah that is not correct at all. The lower rates are correct as per the Tesla app for non-Teslas.

Thought I’d top up in San Gabriel. Enough to make a grown man cry. Is this the future to pay Elons salary?

The max price in the Tesla app with a subscription is 61 cents/kW. Lowest is 42 cents. Charging just half your battery covers the subscription for the month and you save from then on. It's a no brainer.

Umm, I took the rates directly off the Tesla website https://www.tesla.com/findus

If you have a Tesla, let me suggest you're mistakenly looking at the Tesla rate, not the non-Tesla rate.

I've corrected you along with multiple other posters. That is the non-member rate which nobody in their right mind would pay when the membership fee is recouped with less than a single charge.
You quoted me and only me, and said my numbers are wrong and specifically said "The lower rates are correct as per the Tesla app for non-Teslas."

That is not true.

Here is an image directly from the Tesla website which backs up my numbers.
Rivian R1T R1S Tesla Supercharger Rates -OUCH!! yakima

Likewise, I used the Magic Dock at Moses Lake 6 months ago and paid $0.33 as a non-Tesla. Now it is $0.39. That's an increase of 18%. That supports my statement that "they've raised their rates".
