After the last software update, my one-touch garage door button stopped showing up on the screen. I checked the settings, and it's still turned on. I can still access and control my garage door from the house icon. Is anyone else dealing with this? Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve it?

Are you on 2024.11.02? That's the latest software for me (hasn't been updated in awhile), and the one-touch garage door button continues to work flawlessly for me.

Happened to my R1T (but not to my two R1S's)

Infotainment reset fixed it.

Delete your home address and re-add it. Then make sure you go back in settings and confirm that the garage opener is set for your "Home address".

Also you can just toggle the location based setting "On / Off" in the menu, without having to delete your address.

Happened to me. I think it’s an update thing. It lasted about half a day.

MIne disappeared after the last update as well as the overall system has been more buggy than the previous 9 months of ownership. I tried toggling off and on the garage setting and did an infotainment reset and still not showing up. Not a huge deal and I am waiting for the next update which I figured was going to be out by now which would fix it.

The more concerning issue was driving it from my neighborhood and losing acceleration and regen braking. I coasted to a stop, put in Park, then drive and it has worked fine ever since. That is the first time in 9 months I lost power like that. Overall the R1S is amazing still just this last update gave me a couple bugs but I have had that with other ICE cars from time to time.

We lost it yesterday - did an infotainment reset and it didn't come back. Turned off location services and then turned it back on and the next time my wife took it out she was able to double-tap the right steering wheel button to close the garage again.

I had the same issue. Did the full reset and the one-touch came back. I tried using and it worked, so all sorted now. Maybe try the same, full reset?

I had same issue the other day, i think it was cause i read a thread on it, the universe just kmows.

Anyhow, i did the simpler disable/renable the feature in settings and that brought it back, at least for me. I did not delete or remove home or anyhthing.

Happened to me today. I turned off/on the location setting for the door. It didn’t immediately fix the issue but I’ll see what happens next time I take it out.

Same thing happened to me. Going to try the re-set when I get home this afternoon.

Having the same issue.
It just started happening to our R1T a couple of days ago. I first tried a soft (infotainment) reset. When that didn't resolve the problem, I did a hard (vehicle) reset. That fixed the problem.

A soft infotainment reset (holding down outermost steering wheel buttons) resolved my issues of the one-touch garage door button not being an option as well as my home charging schedule not being recognized. Chatting with the service team, the next step would have been a hard reset. Toggling the garage location and prompt on/off didn't work for me, but the soft reset fixed the issues.
