New batch of NACS adapters shipping!

I find the these posts with VIN number helpful. Helps figure out as I took a Jan 23 R1T build and maybe I would get one this year after all. I will pull trigger on A2Z by September if no word from Rivian.

But aren't they going by delivery date? Why are VIN #s helpful? My VIN # is low four digits but my delivery date wasn't until 12/22, so they did not deliver sequentially. Agree, not a big deal.

I'm not sure which they go by, perhaps both delivery date and VIN are helpful clues.

The Rivian email states that "Adapters will be prioritized based on owners’ delivery dates—oldest to newest."

VIN is a reasonable proxy for delivery date, but as some have noted, can often be not well correlated with delivery.

Jan 2023 might be closer than you think, they are already shipping to vehicles delivered early Q4 2022. Q1 2023 could see some starting in next round of shipments.

I suspect a neighbor has an adapter; he drives a Launch Edition. But I have yet to beg him to borrow it haha. Also in my plans.

And what is your neighbor’s address again?? ?

It is showing up for me on my Rivian orders and I have the shipping information from UPS, but it will not give me an estimated delivery date. It just says delayed.

Ah. Sometimes that happens with UPS when they get the tracking info from the shipper before they have the package. Should get updated once it’s in hand with UPS, hopefully a day or two.

Got mine earlier this week. Haven't used it yet. Maybe this weekend. Happy to have it and the A2Z. Curious to see if there are any practical differences.

Both of ours are in-hand....surprised on the R1S delivery as that was a 20,XXX VIN.

It appears in my order history now!. Says “purchased” on the 26th, and standard delivery (5-7 days)

even they got excited!

My R1T was delivered 9/12/22, vin #11xxx. I got the address confirmation email on 7/22, no delivery confirmation email received but order showed up on RIVIAN.com today, 7/26 with standard shipping 3-7 business days.

Yuppie - Got mine on Friday as a surprise. I never got a shipping email or tracking number; but I did get a great email that my item had arrived. I am so happy to have it. Now I need to see what I am going to do with the A2Z adapter.
