Is it only at low speed?

Just put OEM 20s on my S from 22s. All my other R1s have 20s from factory.

I usually listen to music but for some reason I had not turned it on yet and I heard what sounded like a rock or screw head on a consistent interval until I got above 25ish mph. Then it either went away or road noise drowned it out.

I stopped and looked for something in the tread and nothing. I’ll put on my lift tomorrow and check it out but was a new noise for me.

Btw, the faster I went up until I couldn’t hear it anymore it did get faster in terms of interval.

The tock (at least for me) was a one-time thing, in the sense that it was a single tock when stopping then a single tock when pulling away. It was not something that continued as a I drove.

Just got my truck back today with new front half shafts and new drive seals which Rivian says will address the issue.

I *also* had a consistent tapping that increased in cadence as I accelerated. THAT was a torx bolt that had worked its way loose from the under-body shield and found its way into the tread of my front tire. Had the tire plugged and the bolts replaced and retorqued.

Sounded like a unjoint going bad on a traditional drive shaft. Also had gear lash as it got worse over time.

Mine still has a tock after two rounds of washer replacements and new hubs and half shafts. But it’s remained consistent and not gotten worse for a while now. Still annoys.

IDK but it's not a tick apparently. Only a tock

Do the Gen2 vehicles still have this issue?

Unknown. I have 4 Gen 1s….as far as I know none of mine have had the issue.

Have not received Tri-Max yet so can’t speak for Gen 2 or any cases involving me.

I have a noticeable "tock" coming from my driver's front side when I go over certain dips/divets in the road.
