Looking at Electrafi - it seems 98+% of their users (which represent everything from the newest vehicles to low-VIN Launch Editions and some that I think must be Rivian test-mules or employee vehicles) are on 2024.27.xx or newer.

This leaves less than 2% that are stuck on the old version for some unknown reason.

Has anyone with the VIN hold for 2024.27.x received the new 2024.31.01 update?

I have not. I called a week or so ago and they had no update or explanation as to even what the problem is. My understanding is OTA is completely on hold.

Electrafi website shows only like 1% of users that haven’t gotten the new version.

Interesting. Its not even the latest update but the previous update some of you haven't received.

Well, you're not missing much. Version 2024.27.0 has made audio on the Meridian Elevation so much worse than prior to the update. And I dont mean in Apple Music, I mean using the same sources I did before: Spotify, TuneIn, BT with all the exact same settings (including EQ). i had to turn off Dynamic Sound Adjustment and completely redo the EQ just to make it sound decent but its still not the same as before. Sure volume got louder and bass seems a bit stronger but the overall sound balance is gone, the mids/highs are hollow and tingy, and music gets distorted once you get past volume 18-19.

Also notified a couple of weeks back that 2024.27 was on hold for my 22 R1S. Chatted with service just yesterday. I was told engineering is still working on it. Asked again (with the first time when i was originally contacted) what caused the hold and same answer….. All I can say is engineering is working on It….something to that effect.

Not sure, but I assume those of us on hold will not receive 2024.31?

I did last night. I haven't had time to investigate, but it appeared to be soley the user selected interior lighting upgrade.

@Big_Ike - was your vehicle one of the ones on-hold originally? Did anyone contact you as to what needed to be fixed to resume OTA

Yes, I received the call on 8/16 regarding the skipped update for my R1S. They did not mention the cause of the delay nor the timing.

I had received and applied the update on my R1T days before and have seen no diminished capability.
