But many of those are going to Ford and GM owners though. Rivian isn't Tesla's only customer

Put that in numbers. Even if Rivian is only getting a third of that what I said is easily justifiable given the number of Rivians produced and the number of adapters already delivered to Rivian owners

And of course Rivian just announced today that everyone would have an adapter by the end of January, which is one month earlier than I said.

Maybe I got lucky since I have a yellow R1T. People still comment that they can't believe I bought a yellow vehicle. Some balance in the universe I hope.

And then we find out Ford's recently announced adapter delay is they have a printing problem with the box, lol.

I prefer they ship them ASAP and not deal with pretty looking stuff that's going in the garbage when I receive it.

Forgot to provide my update - the adapter arrived Monday. Here are the full history and details:

'23 R1T VIN 173XX Delivered 3/24/23
e-mail for opt-in received and responded to 4/4/24
e-mail confirming NACS delivery address received and responded to 9/10/24
NACS received 9/23/2024 (almost exactly a year and a half after delivery of the R1T)

That would be surprising considering I picked mine up in June and don't have it.

According to the guide when I picked up my car today there people are either in the 7-10 business days camp or the should get it by January camp depending on which "side of the fence" you are. My shop order was 9/17 and pickup 9/27 but I'm in the January group.
