A lot of these upgrades are carrots on a stick. There has to be reasons to upgrade.

Unfortunately it's physically impossible. They changed the entire electrical architecture, removed hundreds of miles of wiring and relocated a few of the cameras on the body

I agree. Need to figure out the camera model, find a replacement model and try it out. If I had time, I may try; but time seems to only move forward. ?

Ohh there is. But finding a camera that fits in the hole the current ones live In is the easy part.

Because then you'll have to figure out how to hack into the car's operating to system to gain root access and replace the OS with a custom one that you wrote that won't crash when it receives the wrong number of pixels from that new camera.

And while you are at it you might as well whip up some carplay software too.

Yes but you would also have to upgrade from a Gen 1 vehicle to a Gen 2 vehicle. ?
