This is what mine does - mostly left turns as well. I've brought it up with them before and got the "normal" response - have an upcoming appointment and have it back on the ticket to address.

Were you a bee to get them to do anything more?

Do you have the older welded subframe or yours came with the newer cast one? Since you're a 2023 it could be right around the time Rivian starting switching. My understanding is the welds could fail on older one causing creaking. Top photo is welded.

It was welded and I requested it to be changed. They decided to buy the truck back so I bought an R1S.

My suspension sounded like an old door creaking. Took it in and they tightened the rods. Months later, compressor blew and the SC replace that and the entire front suspension. SC balled out taking less than 2 weeks. Creaks no linger heard.

Sorry if I missed that elsewhere. I’ll make sure to tell them how they fixed it with yours for my 3 year old t 😂

All my clunking, ting, squeak and tock from the front-end have been resolved after my most recent trip to the service center.

I just got new dampener for both sides / retrofit, new jounce lines / retrofit, new halfshafts and hubs

The suspension does sounds better with no clunks based on the 100 or so miles I have driven over the last 30 hours.

I am currently at ~ 28,000 miles on my Quad Motor June 2023 build R1S.

I appreciate Rivian and my local service center taking care of this concern.

The vehicle suspension is much quieter compared to when I dropped it off.

I am satisfied with the steps Rivian took to resolve my concerns and the effort they have put in to make the vehicle better than when I took delivery on June 2023 (RCA / TSB campaigns).

Can anyone with a Gen 2 R1T Dual Motor able to confirm the front left damper assembly part number?

Gen 1 Dual motor is C100002751-G.

If you can grab a part number for Gen 2 R1T Dual motor front Left and Rear Left that would help me out. This way I know the full damper situation.
