Me too, but I think those collectors have their cars showroom clean when they cover them and they are covered indoors so no wind or movement on the cover.

I would like an option to cover it as well.
Thanks

I am hoping they release the following:
1) Running boards

2) For the hook and USB port on the back of the headrest of the front seats - an adaptor and connector to securely and neatly mount a tablet/screen.

3) Passenger side door inset/pop-out umbrella

4) Retractable screen for panoramic roof

5) massage option for front seats

Edit:
6) option to add a HUD

Gear tunnel accessories are where it’s at.

1. scuba tank holder and wash station on the gear shuttle
2. Bike work station on gear shuttle
3: 3 or 4 bin system for gear shuttle
4. Frunk fridge
5. Flip top camper shell
6. Winch
7. Bumpers and rock sliders
8. Rentable bed mounted battery pack for extra range

Except for asthetics, why have running boards? The truck's air suspension is going to lower it more than enough for exit and entry. However I really want to see some rock rails. But I like your other ideas, especially the massage seats.

I think all but 8 have a decent chance of happening, either from Rivian themselves or a 3rd party. Personally I'm planning to buy a fridge, whether it's frunk mounted or not.

I really like your idea of a Bike work stand. But it would make more sense to use the tow hitch for that. In fact, one of Kuat's NV 2.0 bike racks can also be used as a bike work stand.

In addition to my other list above I would like to see the option for a HUD - though I suspect this would require them to swap out the existing windshield and add activation buttons to the control panel/screen.

Similar to what @Allthetoys mentioned, an easily removable lightbar system in conjunction with the roofracks to allow for use off road. Could face forward and/or backwards.

While I'd also like a full-sized cover, I'd be happy to have one that covers only the greenhouse (all glass surfaces) that can be locked in place with the four closing doors and the mirrors of the R1T. Would also be able to tuck under the wipers. Keeps the dust off of the glass and the heat/UV rays out of the interior. Also, much easier to stow than a full-sized cover and less painted surfaces impacted as others have mentioned.

Speaking of covers and the roof racks, I'd like to have a folding tabletop type of platform that could be unfolded and sit atop/attached to the roofracks while stationary to keep errant crap (footballs, empties, limbs - human or otherwise) from taking out the glass roof. Also handy for storing light, bulky items and keeping heat and light out of the cabin.

A platform cage wouldn't work as you wouldn't be able to fold and stow it and the range would suffer driving with it in place.

Don't laugh, but I think a durable microwave would be handy. Probably best to just carry a cheap one without the glass plate (or remove it when moving).

Rubberized, partitioned storage organizer for the storage area under the rear seat of the R1T. Keep stuff from moving and rattling.

Rear window protective shield of coated wire mesh to protect it from items in bed taking it out.

Awning that mounts to the roof rack. Plenty of 3rd party ones but might as well have a Rivian branded one that utilizes the gear tunnel power to incorporate some lights.

Have been thinking the same. We have headrest mounts in our Atlas currently, but something that hooks there would be more elegant, and the headrest mounts don't look like they would work anyway due to the seat design.

Would like to see the following:

A fold down tailgate so you can reach all the contents in the bed from the back of the truck.
A functioning up and down rear window similar to the Tundra
A bed rail system for moveable anchors for tie downs

Given these are adventure vehicles, I reckon there should be a "drone package" - perhaps roof mounted, integrated with the internal display - which in turn is preprogrammed with all the funky camera modes you need to show off the car, etc as you adventure. :)

This, good call.
I would add bed rail crossbar extensions to match the height of the roof mount crossbars.

1) Sun visor extender to close the gap between the Rear View mirror and the visors, as well as driver side window sun visor (my Mini Cooper had this and was great at sunset and sunrise).

2) Driver seat all weather floor mat that covers left foot rest (current version does not). Too much dirt and stuff falls between the mat and the foot rest onto the carpet and soils.

3) Not accessory but software option/upgrade to accept AirPlay2 onto the main center screen when in Park position (I've gotten used to watching Disney+, Netflix and so on in my Tesla while charing on trips with surround sound)

That's about it. Its pretty well equipped and I'm not into fancy creature comfort stuff.

Question to those that want Running Board. Why? Ground clearance changes and can be as low as 8~9" so no issue getting in or out. Is it for looks??
