Cool, but why’s the charging door hanging open? I’m sure it’s just because it’s a prototype.
Gotta keep that NACS port nice and chilled. How else would the NACS fanbois get their best ever charging curve? /s

I have to say, that barely counts as "camouflage". When automakers do "camo", they use patterns (or even extra taped on panels) to disguise the actual shape/lines of the vehicle when photographed from a distance. That pattern is just "cool wrap" that does nothing to disguise the shape. (Plus the fact that automakers tend to do that when the design hasn't been publicly shown yet, R2 very clearly has.)
It's not meant to hide anything really. Rivian themselves acknowledged that. They said the body is pretty much known to everyone already and it was just very few small details they wanted to hide. They also said it was tradition and took the chance to have fun with the wrap. So Rivian acknowledged that the wrap was more for fun and tradition than hiding anything.

Very excited for this car, but have to say that these pictures are not flattering or those headlights. They just look so goofy here.

I’ve said that I’m unlikely to buy an R2, but my wife would force me to reconsider if it is available with that wrap. Still the best looking “camo” I’ve ever seen on a prototype.

There's a video of someone at Rivian talking about this. I can't remember the details, but if I remember right he was talking about not needing to "hide" anything, but they were more wanting to have fun with it and sort of play along with the tradition of doing something.

That's a keen eyes mate! Just a part of the driveway and few shrubs...

Impressive, most impressive :)
Also the location of the prototype assemble line.

if the rear gate window does roll down, that will be a heavenly ride for my dogs. but hopefully they will engineer and isolate the wind noise if it’s a rolling window.

Hopefully it’ll divert significant potential 4Runner customers away from Toyota… they make good vehicles but a bit ticked off by their lobbying against policies that support EVs.

It looks like the rear window is down because it works like the Toyota 4runner which can be control from the drivers seat or at the rear. if that's the case that will be very cool option....no buffeting and also you can put long gear through we no issues. Very cool!

I can't imagine why, today, anyone in their right mind would spec a retractable rear window that cannot be controlled by the driver and the connected mobile app.

Based on the condition of the rest of the vehicle, I'm assuming the rear window simply fell out :)
Lot of duct tape around trim pieces.....looks like the same adhesive used on R1
