Not to mention, it would actually be a negative for them. Rivian currently has a couple of comma units themselves. They use this just like manufacturers buying other manf vehicles to reverse engineer. Also, if you've ever read the warranty terms, you'll see Rivian wants to deny you warranty at any chance it can get. Allowing the use of the comma on an aging platform gives them ample excuse to blame it and deny service.
