2024 First gen R1T Quad - HVAC - 3 way valve location? Help?

I don't have any leaks reservoir has ways been full.

There is also a 5 way valve somewhere on the left I think, I wish Rivian had a flow diagram they'd share for the whole system to be able to properly diagnose.

Before you replace parts I'd try bleeding the coolant system of air. The whole coolant system needs to be vacuum bled so if there is air in the system it might not be able to pump the coolant through the battery plates.

I notice the fan is not kicking on. I guess with limited knowledge of the system I don’t know if it has a standard switch and relay somewhere or if it comes on from a computer. When the battery gets super hot while charging, does the radiator get hot coolant going through it? What if you force the fan on (assuming it’s a standard 12v fan motor)

today the air-ride went out and requires service and the 12v replace now light came on.
while I was bored during inspection of all air ride connections I took the passenger front inner fender out and swapped the lines at the 3 way. bled the system and was able to do a preheat without overheating the batteries!!! a win!!

sadly still going to get my salvage inspection done, air ride looked at.. get the passenger front low and driver rear ride height looked it. fix the a/c charging issue (dies quickly to 2kw) and a 4 wheel alignment. annnnndddd the 12v battery replaced. will follow up with findings when the vehicle is diagnosed and/or repaired.

if anyone knows how to reset the air-ride fault code ill give it a try. the vehicle kneeled and doesn't even want to attempt in unkneeling.

pulled the 12v and capacitor right out of the vehicle and didn't clear, so seems hard coded. service mode doesn't show anything off.

did a test run with that photo. was hoping plugging in the trailer would at least give me quad motor instead of just fronts.

sadly did nothing. just a boat anchor to tug down.

100 mi completed averaged 2km per KW. Or 1.25 mi per KW. Averaged 55mph.

The mechanic thinks it should ace the salvage inspection.

my truck passed the salvage inspection
tomorrow they will write up the quote to diagnose the slow charge, over heat, air ride and alignment

Rivian’s written work orders are short on details, do your best to talk to the tech working on it and report back.

On my way to pick up the truck

The air compressor went bad that's what caused my stuck in kneel mode issue

The slow AC charging and overheating was caused by the inline coolant filter being clogged

When I switched the lines on the three-way valve it briefly blew it free and then switched and reclogged

When I pick it up I will be towing another machine back with me
