will be interesting to see if other Jan/Feb folks report the same conversation or if Rivian is able to fulfill some orders but not all.

My bad, I should have checked for blocked posts. Apparently I felt the need to block this user somewhere along the way.@the long way downunder had some feedback from their guide that they won't get delivery in Jan/Feb.
I think you are overly optimistic. It is not just the Jan/Feb group, but the 2021 & Jan/Feb groups. These two groups have now been pushed into the Mar/Apr group. I would have agreed with you, except the ramp-up is not even to their Jan/Feb goal and there was a larger number for Mar/Apr. I think Jun/July is possibly when they can catch up with the ramp-up (more likely Aug/Sep).Not necessarily. Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but based on the number of forum members who had Jan/Feb versus Mar/Apr, I would think that the total anticipated deliveries for Jan/Feb was much smaller than Mar/Apr. March and April may be able to absorb the January and February orders without creating a ripple effect.
But of course, this is all a guess based on zero information from Rivian as to why these dates may have been pushed.
I'm not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing. When the delivery windows went out, the earliest I recall was Jan/Feb (so no 2021 groups that we had picked up in the survey). I could be misremembering, but I don't think so.I think you are overly optimistic. It is not just the Jan/Feb group, but the 2021 & Jan/Feb groups. difficulty level: Canada ?Hopefully the email is a mistake because from everything we've been told that configuration should be part of the first batch of trucks. I would check in with them and make sure your config is properly noted in their system. Fingers crossed for you that it's not a long delay.
You mean you'd rather receive an email about your vehicle delivery instead of an email on purchasing "Hometown Hoodies and Adventurous Tees"?Kind of odd they are sharing stories of vehicle features (gear gaurd) when deliveries are supposed to be happening. You would think they would have these videos out months ago. Ugh, Everything this company does is so odd. They excite me every 2 weeks with an email until I open it and it's some Zen event in the Venice hub.
Really hope the experience owning the truck is a good one. I've been waiting since 12/8/2018, just getting old.

Maybe his was the one that caught on fire!I'm confused. Which member with a Jan-Feb window was told Mar-Apr? I only saw a statement from a Mar-Apr customer (Jagger027) stating that CS indicated Mar-Apr was still the best info they had and they were still committed to that window.
That said, I still expect few or zero deliveries in February.
Working for a publicly traded company, they also can't leak insider info that might influence stock prices.Even if employees haven't signed an NDA as a condition of skipping the customer line months/years ahead of schedule.. it may just be something "understood" in their corporate culture that anything negative published and attributed to you will cost you your job.
NDA....No Deliveries AllowedEven if employees haven't signed an NDA as a condition of skipping the customer line months/years ahead of schedule.. it may just be something "understood" in their corporate culture that anything negative published and attributed to you will cost you your job.
If they have knowledge of problem areas that are holding up production or might otherwise impact sales, that would be inside information suggestive of "a material change in anticipated earnings". Out of fear of saying too much, most employees tend to play it safe by steering well clear of saying anything negative or overly revealing. Most employees also want their company to be successful and so are unlikely to paint the company's products in a negative light.^ believe that would apply to new future features not things like "the TPMS isn't working" or "The infotainment system keeps dropping out". Sadly, all we get seems to be.. "my wife just loves the blue color cause it matches her eyes" rubbish.
