They sure do! I’ve always wondered why this was only utilized once, with no control within the UI (although obviously not a super high priority item early on).

FWIW, just picked up my truck from the service center, and they performed the fix from FSAM-1091. On my drive home I had none of the usual (for me) ticking/tocking/grinding sounds on initial acceleration. Really hoping this fix lasts!

With the 21’s, I’ve been seeing very similar efficiency to my ‘20 Model Y Perf (usually around 2.6-2.8 miles/kWh in that car). So I’ve been very impressed overall, and look forward to seeing if I can eek out similar range to this on trips!

My VIN is in the mid 7000’s, delivered yesterday, and got the update pushed to me earlier this morning. Been about an hour and a half so far and sitting at 69%.
