Birds attracted to Rivians?

I’ve got some birds that seem to love my drivers side mirror and windows. Birds seem to be some how confused and fly into the window over and over, and then shits all over the car. Happens every day. May need a plastic owl.

Not a Rivian thing, they do this with my Mazda also. You can cover your side mirrors so they don't see themselves and that should help and deter some of the activity.

I've had that happen. Supposedly due to the reflection in the mirror and glass and them reacting to it. It got so bad with my truck one year that every time I parked my truck at home I would put plastic shopping bags over the mirrors using rubber bands. Took only a few seconds and looked totally stupid, but it worked. Seemed to only be an issue in the spring time.

Birds are dicks. It’s my first spring with an R1S and all the birds are like, “oh, you want to walk away from your Rivian confident you’ll hear it lock? Well, CHIRP CHIRP TWEET CHIRP TWEET CHIRP CHIRP, motherf$&@ker!”

Birds got so bad where I last lived that I ended up making "mirror socks" out of an old car cover. Some of them get pretty territorial and would attack their image for minutes at a time. Not good for the paint.

I am having a same problem. But mine is passenger side. Find out beak marks and lots of bird poop every day on passenger side. Don’t know how to handle that other then cleaning it everyday.

I remember reading this a few weeks ago and never would have thought it was an issue. Now they’re all over mine and crapping constantly. They love the rear spoiler - they’ll sit up there crapping all over my bed all day.

Literally never would have guessed this would be my biggest issue with the Rivian.
