She's a Seeing Eye Dog (for my wife).

When I’m alone on the car she gets to ride shotgun. Summer has ac vent on her and in winter it’s under the towel with a seat heater on.

she also helps me when doing chores (in this instance installing running boards to the truck). Her usual car bed for the back seat is on the ground in the second pic.

Our boy usually rides on someone's lap, but here he is riding solo because daddy had to take him to the vet (he'd hurt his eye). Note all the blankets I put to protect the interior from his nails, LOL.

Our cats (four) have yet to ride in the Rivian. But they do like laying underneath it, and will jump up and walk through it if I leave the doors or gear tunnel open. Here's a couple of them laying underneath it:

We use the Orvis dog box with a soft blanket I tuck around the seats for our vizsla. It’s perfect - gives him more room to lay down, still fits with my kids in the back seat, and has tons of Sta rage on the inside for his food, bowls, leash when we go on trips. It’s like a functional dog suit case!

I like those much better than the cones, but they are pricey and not as durable as you would think. We had one last only 15 minutes on one of our dogs before he popped it.
