Battery icon came up red. Can i drive it and how long before the Battery dies?

I went away for ten days with the R1T PLUGGED in. Came home and went to drive it and the red light with the battery showed up also in my mobile app it showed please replace the battery soon. The truck is only 8 months old. Can i drive it? How long might it last before I get a mobile guy here?

It’s probably the 12V, not the high voltage battery. What percentage charge does the driver display say? Do the obvious: contact Rivian support/service ASAP.

My warning light came on on Feb 27th, didn't drive it too much, kept it plugged in otherwise. Drove to Tualatin SC about 2.5 weeks later, on Mar 17th.

its at 63% i need to drive it for work and other appointments but do not want to get stranded. I contacted Rivian. Should hear something today

Keeping the main battery charged keeps everything working just don't let the hv battery go dead mine took about a month to get replaced and no problems

It will definitely be good for at least the next five minutes and possibly six months. I'm on my fourth, one held on with the warning for weeks, one did not.

Mine was replaced yesterday (2023 Quad R1T) and came on Saturday. When I called to make the appointment Saturday the Rivian rep said it will burn through your battery sooner but to not let it get below 30% and leave it plugged in while you can.

I ended up canceling my trip Saturday but was glad I got the warning and was addressed quickly. I’m back in business.

I got a call back today and they said i could drive as long as i keep the battery above 30%. They are coming voia mobile to replace it next monday. Not bad considering the service center is 240 miles away.
