Gracias!Flush Mount.
Looks like a custom lift for your RTT and other accessories... or is it a kit? Either way... nicely done...I know others have addressed the "plastic" concern. I'll just add that I hang my RTT from my garage ceiling by four eyelets secured exclusively in the t-slot - so each of them has about 50 pounds of continuous pressure pulling upwards when it's in storage. I think that's more or less a torture test for the t-slot and they don't show any sign of wear or deformation.
I sure hope they're up to it, since it's hanging directly over my Tesla's windshield ? I'll let you know if it fails!

Off the shelf kit - details hereLooks like a custom lift for your RTT and other accessories... or is it a kit? Either way... nicely done...
Yes, I have that also. I had to get a hitch extender because I wasn't comfortable with how close the rack got to the tailgate when closed. It works OK, but renders the backup cam almost useless and the sensors go nuts.Anybody using the 1up in the tow hitch vs on the crossbars?
I can’t see why either direction would have a measurable effect.Does anyone think it makes much difference which way the bike is facing for range/aero-ness?
They do make a rack section that you can remove and use like you want, but they have to be ordered in pieces.Great info here. Which 1UP hitch rack are you people using - 2" Super Duty, 2" Heavy duty or 2" Equip-D?
Can the trays be taken off the 1Up Hitch racks and used on the Rivian bed rails if one desires?
Thanks in advance
You can convert the Roof Racks to Hitch Racks, but not the other way around, unfortunately. Different mounting system underneath. For the Rivian Bed Rails, you want this: https://www.1up-usa.com/product/roof-rack/ and choose the "flush mount" option. Thanks - looks like I'd purchase two of these (anything else needed?) for mounting on the Rivian bed rails if I go that route?

Seems if you buy the hitch rack one of the trays is fixed and can not be removed.
