Good suggestion. I checked and it’s already enabled though.
Try turning it off and on again. I have found that to be helpful on a couple of things after an update.

Hum, seems like the back display wont stay locked after the update, anyone else?
Yes! I noticed this too! It has to be unlocked and relocked for every drive. The weird thing is that it indicates that it’s locked, however it’s not. I just thought it was an update allowing the rear pax to be able to see song and climate data without the ability to change. Not the case.

Gen1 Quad, post .51 update, I'm unable to turn off the headlights when parked and inside the cabin. They come back on automatically after a couple of seconds. Anyone else notice this behavior?

Did you guys know you can also lick your finger and then wipe the rear camera off with it before you get in the vehicle. Not in the manual, but I've had it work on both the S and T.?

I've never seen the need to do a hard reset after a software update as I presumed -- as with most other computers when they do a system update -- it does a hard restart as part of the process -- likely near the end of the process.

Curious how many of you do a hard reset after installing any new updates. If so why. Cheers
I had to do both a hard reset and soft reset post .51.30 update on Friday evening to restore function in all my screens. They were completely black and off. Vehicle still functioned, just no screens until the resets completed.

I for one prefer the finger licking’ good method. The challenge, needless to say, is remembering not to pick my or anyone else’s nose afterwards.
Very old proverb
You can pick your friends
You can pick your nose
You shouldn’t pick you friends nose

Updated yesterday, ~45min. Reverse is definitely smoother, almost free-rolls a little which I’m not used to! This resolved my Phone as a key issue. Where the vehicle/app would not pair my iPhone 16pro. Lots of discussion with service about this, but the updated fixed it thankfully! I’ve noticed my rear screen (which I typically keep locked for my child, who loves the tap to see Gear Guard guy, which she named “Freddy”) is now unlocked every time I get in the car, even if control says it’s locked. A quick unlock, and re-lock works for now though.

Mine has done this all of 47.01. Still waiting for this update….
I had this issue. Just removed the location that was stored for the garage and re added it and it worked fine after that.

I have the update and really didn't notice anything realyl earth shattering different. Since the only time I go in reverse is when I leave the driveway and my R1T is parked outside all the time.

The only thing I did notice was that the "jingle bells" love sound is gone which was totally expected.

What I want is MESSAGING on the infotainment system. I know I can use "Siri" or "Alexa", but it would be much easier to have an alert on the screen.

The other thing I want is the ability to move the "play" screen from the passenager side to the drivers side. Once the music is playing I use the forward or back to change the track, but if I go from Spotify to Apple Music it would be nice to have it on the drivers side.

FYI- you could accomplish the forward and back using the left buttons on the steering wheel.
