I have an old 1/2 inch wide wood chisel I used and now keep with the jack in the truck. The thin edge can be tapped under the edge of the centering ring so it can be pried off. Break it loose and slowly work your way around the ring until it comes off. The anti seize is important.
Good idea, have plenty of those around, will add to my kit.

As an aside, I'm thrilled with the first 100 miles on my snows. So much quieter than my ATs and roughly the same efficiency so far.

We finished our holiday drive from Seattle area to Montana on the 2363s with 275/60R20 Wildpeaks, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the efficiency! My ABRP number ended at 2.4 for the whole trip, compared to 2.2 with stock ATs on the same trip. We ran the usual conserve/low to compare.

It could've been the mild and dry weather (20s-40s) or a lack of headwind, but it wasn't worse than stock tires and wheels, so that's a win. I've also been paying attention to battery temps more and really credit an 85°F+ battery with good numbers.

I'm excited to see the drive back!

Return trip data below, net downhill with conserve/low on the highways yielded 2.11 mi/kWh. My ABRP number was 2.5 for the return, very impressive! I'm completely sold on 275/60R20 but might switch to Michelin Defenders and run them year-round. Pirelli AS+3 would've done just fine, roads were warm and dry.

Well I finally took the time this holiday break to get my Ram 2363 wheels ready.

Sanded them at first by hand, got very sore quick haha. Then realized my hand sander worked for 95% of the wheel. The rest went rather quickly.

Picked up a "graphite" wheel spray paint from Amazon which turned out quite nice. I didn't prime or clearcoat since I didn't have the time/want to be bothered for wheels I'll use <5 times a year for a few days at a time.

Painted vs. sanded. Left one has about 2 coats. I did 3-4 at the end.

Came out quite nice. After driving a few hundred miles, they held up nicely even through some sandy areas. I'm still missing center caps. Need to figure out which ones fit. Anyone know?

I did splurge a bit and picked up the Badland jack from Harbor Freight. I had a 1.5 ton aluminum and a Pittsburg 2.5 ton that was slowly leaking fluid. So why not treat myself. :)

It was easy to see how out-of-shape I was since these wheels/tires are sooooo heavy. Luckily I had one of these wheel jack/dolly things to lift and line up the lugs. They're noticeably heavier than the OEM 22" setup.

One minor (maybe not so minor?) thing I noticed. Driver's side tires poke out a tiny bit more than the passenger side. I double checked and offsets for all wheels are the same (not staggered on the Ram). I wonder what it is.

This is same side (I wish I got a pic of the other side) but lifted up a bit since I was on an incline.

Anyone know why the tire would seem to poke out a bit more on one side?

Efficiency wasn't terrible. On normal roads, I don't really think I noticed anything. Even on a longer trip to the ski resort (sea level to 5000 feet), it seemed to be similar to what my 22s would be. I wasn't exactly driving fast though since I wanted to mainly test out the wheels. Didn't want them falling off :p.

Shop had them balanced/mounted on the wheels at only 30psi. I inflated them to about 53psi. Tires said max load pressure is 80psi. My little inflator took forever to get from 30 to 53 haha.

Had the lugs torqued to 120 ft/lbs. Checked after first drive and re-torqued. They loosened a tiny bit. Then after the long drive to/from ski resort, they didn't budge.

Some steering wheel shake, but it was "different". Shake due to bad balancing doesn't really go away when you hold the wheel. This one stopped as soon as you held it.

That's been my experience, I think it's just AT wheel shake. I had similar with stock ATs.

Glad you're enjoying the wheels!

What PSI do you have them inflated to?

48. Set them there in October and a couple months later there were down to 46-47 in cooler weather. I bumped them back to 48 before the road trip, saw a 3-5% improvement on my commute.

So my local RSC has rejected this wheel change programming. More details to come tomorrow but was told because they weren't Rivian authorized they wouldn't switch the programming (from stock 20s to 22s matching 265/60/20 115).

Have asked for more details on which parameter was the problem and which snow tires they sell/authorize.

Not only is every SC different, every tech, lead, and manager is different. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure someone said Bellevue SC denied them a change with Ram wheels, while they did mine with no questions and even complemented the wheels.

I just keep telling myself "Service is helpful and nice, service is helpful and nice" (because they are).
Figure I have some options:
1. Talk them into doing the same they have already done while raising awareness people like snow tires in winter
2. Put my winters on my MSW Type 52s that finally arrived and try again with stock offset
3. Beg a forum member for 21s or 22s for a day
4. Put my snows on my AT wheels (assuming it is only the wheels they have an issue with)

At least I got a bunch of other little things taken care of in the meanwhile. Perhaps I'll get a new accelerator pedal tomorrow too.

Let us know what the problem is; wheel, tire, diameter, color, etc. I'm curious their reasoning, and have $5 on color.

Fine fine, I'll paint them yellow! How many $40 touch up pens do you think I'll need?

Response from the tech was that for any 20" wheels they need to be the same size tire as the 20" stock tire. They are escalating the question to engineering to determine if they can use my 265/60/20 tire circumference programmed for stock 22s since they are the same which was the original request.
But the take away was, it's has to be one of the three size pairings from stock, but could be a different model tire so long as the sizes were the same. In other words recommended I buy 275/65/20 snow tires and come back in. Which doesn't make much sense because if I did that I wouldn't have needed to come in in the first place... But I guess that means if I bought aftermarket 21 or 22 wheels with the stock size tires they would be able to update.

So I'll probably be begging someone here to let me borrow a set of 22s for a couple days soon.

If you already had the OE 20s, then why did you get the 275/60/20 winters instead of 275/65/20?
