My wife says she gets dizzy and nauseous when I floor it. It doesn’t do that to me.

Well I was showing off my Rivian R1s tri motor today, put it in sport mode and floored it. For a second thought I may actually pass out and felt dizzy and nausea afterwords for a bit. Anyone else experience this?
No.

Unless you have the absolute weakest possible constitution, possibly with a heart condition, no production vehicle is capable of enough G-forces to even remotely cause a blackout. Your average tame roller coaster has much higher G forces. An airplane on takeoff pulls higher G forces.

(Doing the math, "total G force felt" combining rearward G forces of a 3 second 0-60 with the 1G downward pull of Earth, is about 1.3G combined. An airliner in a fairly standard turn pulls 1.4G. A fairly tame roller coaster pulls 2-2.5G. The most serious can pull 10+ for a second or two. An "out of shape" person may start experiencing early symptoms of G forces at 4-5G for 5 seconds.)

0 to 60 in 3 seconds. The g-force experienced is approximately 0.91230 g
Unlikely to require MAST (military anti shock trousers)
Astronauts can experience 3 to 6 g's
I suspect we've all floored it to see the reaction of our passengers though.
A Rivian or any other vehicle going off a cliff will reach 60 mph in 2.74 seconds.
Can you explain how the transverse-G can be less than 1? Did you make a typo and forget a number? Fellow carrier pilots experience 4-5 transverse Gs, going 0-165 knots (199 mph) in 2 seconds. Be sure that you understand the meaning of transverse Gs.

Sounds like the OP performed in line acceleration excluding lateral forces from turning or gravitational forces from climbing. The formula for in line acceleration g forces yields the result I listed. Also 0 to 60 in 5 rather than 3 seconds yields these results

"If a car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds, the acceleration is about 5.5 m/s². The g-force experienced by the driver would be approximately 0.56 g (5.5 / 9.81 ≈ 0.56). "

Transverse g-force, also known as -Gx or +Gx, refers to the acceleration experienced by an object or person in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of their movement, essentially pushing them backwards or forwards. It's one of the three main axes of G-force, along with lateral (Gy) and longitudinal (Gz) forces.

Last Friday I did a 2.97 second run in our Tri using launch mode and I didn't feel sick.

Take a video next time (j/k).
Probably won't use launch mode again. it's a fun party trick but I don't want our tires toast at 15k miles.

0.9something horizontal Gs, which when combined with 1G from the Earth is about 1.3G felt. (Because pythagorean theorem.)

Got to love that feeling! Woe be the day when you don’t get that feeling.

I would suggest, at least for your passengers’ sake, you do not put both hands on the ceiling and pretend you are riding a rollercoaster. People are so touchy these days.

We are constantly exposed to the earth's gravity and our anatomy and physiology have evolved around it. It is not included in calculating acceleration forces by linear acceleration. If there was a vertical or lateral acceleration tangent then it would need to be factored in.

No, never. I would have your blood pressure checked. It might be dangerously low.

I noticed that you have a Land Rover. My old Land Rover had "stump puller" torque but was 0 to 60 in whenever. Welcome to the next EV century. Now, when you pull that stump, it will probably slingshot over your hood. (Select high suspension mode to drive over it if you can't swerve at high speed.)

No you didn’t almost pass out, you experienced a turbulent inner ear experience giving you vertigo. In order for you to pass out from g-forces, and g-force alone, you would need to be moving vertically so blood drains from the brain.
