Makes sense. Different weight and requirements.No, they will probably not interchange. I saw an early pre-production wheel and the bolt pattern diameter was different (smaller). I also think the offset was different. This all could have changed, but the wheel I saw, looked a lot like the wheels that made it to the early publicity cars. The wheel also was clearly stamped Rivian on the back in the casting.

I don't think anyone who knows will spill the beans before 3/12. I did read someone stating the R2 would come out with 19" and 21", but given how unpopular the odd sizes are, I have my doubts to their validity. Anyone can claim expertise and insider knowledge these days.
