Anyone else notice this? When going in reverse, especially out of my garage and driveway, the camera will glitch part of the way back and stutter for a good second. Seems to always happen as I’m approaching the sidewalk which makes me paranoid I won’t see a pedestrian coming along (I turn around and look too but shouldn’t have to do this with a properly working backup camera).

Seems pretty consistent, and maybe it’s because I’ve awakened the truck from a deep sleep? I haven’t noticed this when backing at different places, though this is the longest spot I back out, since everywhere else is typically a normal parking space.
I’ll try and get a video of it happening to share here and with Rivian.

Happens to my cameras as well on my 27xxx
Was seeing on my back first but later I saw on the front as well (I use the front less frequently).
The stutter is pretty consistent

I had this start to happen on our Tesla, most noticeable after the Intel processor version that mine had was being replaced with the faster AMD.

I’m most concerned for the safety reasons. My Ford actually had a recall for this (even though mine didn’t have the issue) and feel like Rivian may be hit with a recall if they don’t sort this out (assuming we aren’t the only ones).

My camera started freezing on a recent update. For about a second or two, it stops updating, so it appears I'm not moving when in fact I am. It only happens when the display is shifting from day to night mode when I'm backing into my garage.

As @madgrey said, this is a glitch when shifting from day to night mode, triggered by the change in relative brightness between the garage and the outside. You can avoid this by leaving it in night mode all the time.

I've noticed this but don't recall if I've seen it since updating to 46.0.

Mine does this too, and the timing seems to coincide with hitting the garage close button on the steering wheel. It’s almost as though processing the garage request slows down the camera processing.

Happens every time the displays change from day to night or vice versa. Been happening pretty much since I got the truck in March, but hard to say exactly when I noticed it. I've just learned to watch for it and stop until they unfreeze. Definitely something they really need to fix though.

My guy, with all the answers ?????

I notice the same glitch coming home, I back in the garage for easy departure. Once I'm in and it's darker in there, screens switch and sometimes I think I'm having a seizure. Nope, just ? putting on his shades

I've never had a stutter... I randomly get A) wrong picture (backing out at home, I see work parking lot) or B) Green Screen... No video feed

Same here, camera freezes up for like a full second and then resumes. This has been happening since about 2 updates ago. I just figured it would work itself out after another update or two but I'm now on .46 and it's still there...
