131kWh battery, you lost approximately 1.6kWh/day... not great and it's summertime.

At one point in 2023, Rivian had vampire drain down to 0.5-0.7kWh/day, then they "fixed" issues with the fobs and phones not waking the vehicle.. and drain has never been then low since.

Hopefully they have "fixed" this issue in the all new design R2. EV's don't have to have vampire drain.

Yeah, I’m definitely concerned about that with the R2 and the 12V battery thing, which is related to the battery drain.

Rivian isn’t the only one with this problem either. Some Kia/Hyundai EVs, like the Ioniq 5 have their 12V batteries die suddenly due to an issue with the ICCU.

As long as they keep ale the computers going the drain will be large. I also have a lucid and it's worse. The problem is shutting down the computers would require a reboot every time you got in and that takes time that most people are not willing to waste.

OP said it was in shipping mode, which should shut it all down.
