Long time Jeep owner and I always used the peace sign rather than a wave, which is what I still do occasionally with my Rivian. How about ?, haha. I don't think it matters, any acknowledgment is cool.Second this!

i would wave at a “fellow yello” too…endangered species! Hahai usually honk, but it being Rivian nobody can hear me.
seriously though, too many Rivians in colorado. I try to wave to all but may need to adopt a policy of only waving to fellow yellows. Sorry to the rest of the plebes
Haha, yes!Sure, but then we wouldn't have had the opportunity to discuss pragmatics on the Rivian forums.
We Airstreamers wave to each other whenever we cross roads… ?Fellow Rivian drivers ... can we please start waving to each other when we pass on the road? =)
Since we have no Carplay.... let's just start being nice to each other and wave as we pass =)
????I think a ? would be cooler…and at least more original.
It’s the dumbest part of owning a Jeep…with the ducks a close 2nd. I won’t be waving (unless I know you)
Me too! I can go more than a week without seeing another Rivian on my central Oregon coast town. I always wave when I see another Rivian but the responses now are not the same when I first got my R1S 2 years ago. I agree it is fun and friendly and feels like we're in a club lol. Keep up the waves for those of us rural Rivian folk who don't see like kind as oftenI wound up behind an R1S the other day. Rivians are uncommon in my town (despite being not terribly far from the mothership in Normal). I flashed my brights but didn't get a response. No offense taken--it's easier to see a wave when passing than when waiting at a light. But, yeah, I always try to greet other Rivians--there are still few enough of us that the camaraderie is appreciated. I look forward to the day that our vehicles are a yawn--my RIVN will be way more valuable!
