Can't close a door this morning

was getting ready to send the kids to school but can't close/lock the rear right door.. made sure there was no any foreign objects preventing closing/locking mechanism to work.. very frustrating.. performed a hard restart but it didn't help..

was about to move the car seats to the other car, but then the door functioned again like normal... overall it was like a 5 min breakdown...

anyone has experience the same issue?

We've had a problem with our R1T tailgate showing as "open" -- and it once opened by itself at low speed.

We have an appointment in a few weeks at Portland Service Center for this and for the knuckle bolt inspection.

The tailgate-open error message has cleared. I don't know if the problem is fully resolved or not.

Yes, I have had it happen twice. I should have videoed how I fixed it.
I used a screw driver and a slim nose pliers to manually put the latches back into their correct position.

one day after Holloween (were the electronics affected by the activating the Holloween light effects?) I couldn't close the gear tunnel door - dashboard flashed warning lights and reduced my max mph to 13. This is along story - after being told by Rivian support they could not tell me how to close the door and I would need to tow my vehicle 2.5 hours away, youtube post helped me fix the problem - not until after I banged the gear tunnel door into the garage while backing it in. You see the display did not show the door open, it was dark yada yada. I want Rivian to fix the cosmetic damage. ?
