Charging and range estimates seem off?

Just got my 48A Tesla UWC installed and the car is showing +17mi in 30 mins charging at 10.8kW but only 5.4kWh added (5.2 kWh to battery). Truck shows average efficiency over my 260mi ownership as 1.9mi/kW.

Super happy with the charge rate but the math doesn't seem to be mathing well?

Definitely an error, as it has occurred to me a couple times. Happens sometimes where the information glitches. I wouldn't worry too much unless it keeps happening.

Miles are not a unit of capacity - so don't look at things that way.

If you charged for 30 minutes at a steady rate of 10.8kW, gaining 5.4 kWh of energy totally lines up (the truck ate .2 kWh to run electronics while you charged).

I'll say that for me the energy and charging screen on the app has been all borked up since the most recent update. The number of miles it shows with various states of charge is different depending on which screen you look at in the energy section - including one display that showed like 160 miles for a full charge. Obviously there are some data errors and I've reported it in the app.
