Cheap solution to phone sliding on charging mat

As everyone has experienced the issue of your phone sliding around while driving on the charging mat by the center arm rest, I came up with my own solution that works and is very simple that I wanted to share.

I bought thin roll of clear silicon that is fairly sticky on both sides. Simply cut it to size and lay it down, phone stays in place, still charges, problem solved.

Good idea! I do wonder how long it would stay clean. Can you easily wipe it clean with a wet microfiber?

Yeah, it might get dirty but just some soap and water would do the trick. If not, there is enough silicon in the roll to make a couple more.

Great idea. Got some dust on that pad and it was not easy to clean. Anything sticky and it would be very hard.
