anyone else think the chilewich floor mats feel cheap? when you first see them in the vehicle they look awesome, but i took them out to put in all weather mats and i was shocked how thin they are.

my 2006 Accord has floor mats 3 times as thick and weighty. same with my 2010 Highlander. just feels cheap and i dont think they are going to last long.

I like they way they look. But pulled them as soon as I got the all weather mats. I have thought about putting the rear and passenger back in, since I rarely have passengers.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
I bought the all-weather rubber mats because I live near the beach and we use our truck for all sorts of filthy things. But I used the Chilewich ones once on a paddleboard day (before the rubber ones showed up) and was shocked at how easy they are to clean. Getting norcal beach sand out of carpet floor mats has always been nearly impossible - not so with these.

As far as durability goes - only time will answer this question. Every OEM mat I’ve ever used wore out at the heel of the throttle position within 3 years.

I like them very much. They’re the nicest looking mats I’ve ever had, too.

I have chilewich placemats in the kitchen that have seen daily use for over a decade. They are indistinguishable from new and they get cleaned periodically using hot water and scrubbers. That stuff is tougher than it looks.

I like the Rivian mats, it's a novel use for the material, but they can't hold any liquid and don't protect the center tunnel so I'm going to stick with some sort of all weather mat. I rarely keep the OE mats in vehicles anyway, they end up getting stored and forgotten until I sell the vehicle.

Mine made it about 10k miles with zero signs of wear. Seem more solid than any carpet mats I have ever had.

Love the Chilewich floor mats so much I returned the all weather rivian mats the day I received them. They look really great, match my FG nicely (looks weird with rivian blue tho!) and feel sturdy and easy to clean.

I bought the all weather mats ahead of my delivery. Once they arrived, I struggled with putting them in or not after using the stock chilewich ones for a few days. I think they have a great overall look and feel to them which compliments the vehicle vs straight rubber.

Part of me would have liked the white OC ones in my BM interior. That would have been an interesting contrast.

I'm not even sure where mine are...

We have some... They are durable, sure, but they do not stop any marinara from getting on the white tablecloth.

Granted I have only used mine for about a month and don't have to contend w/snow but I like them. I didn't think I would and figured I'd buy rubber mats but holding off for now. They have a good look and are very easy to clean. MUCH better than standard carpet mats.

I like them, easy to clean and I think they keep the interior theme going. Holding up well for me so far.
Same here- especially the ocean coast ones. Gotten a ton of compliments on them. If I had BM interior I would totally get some 3d mats.

Are they no longer available? Just bought an R1S from the store and looking for floor mats but not in the Gear Shop.

My issue with them wasn't that they felt cheap, but that they were super slick. Anything I put on the floor in the back would slide from one side of the truck to the other every time I went around even the gentlest of corners.

I didn't need the all-weather mats so I swapped them out for some standard carpeted mats from EV1.
