Couple bugs in 2024.19.06

Just wanted to point out a couple things I noticed; wonder if anyone else has seen them.

The Highway Assist icon that indicates when it's available for use often does not appear on roads that it definitely is available on. So I just try to engage anyway, and it engages and the icon then appears! It then also stays visible after disengaging.

Next, the song info that pops up on the driver's display when songs change sound usually disappear after a few seconds, but pretty often now the song pops up and stays there the whole song and only disappears after the following song starts.

Tiny, tiny issues, but bugs that I figure should be known nonetheless. Not worth a service ticket, not like the write the software at the service centers. ?

Mine went full bonkers when I was attempting to change navigation volume. Froze on that sunscreen and wouldn't allow any inputs.

Then also went nutz on hvac screen one time. Acted like temp up button was stuck. Kept going to full max hot no matter what.

Both were cured with a infotainment level reset.

Yeah unfortunately resets haven't done the trick for me.

I noticed the driver+ issue on 2024.19.4 as well. Couple of stretches where it has been working was not showing available. I tried engaging it, got the message unavailable on this road, message goes away, then shows available and I could engage.

anyone else unable to close their garage door using the steering wheel button while in reverse? tbf, this happened on the previous version as well…annoying nonetheless.

twice i've had my navigation freeze. The truck gets stuck at it's starting location and doesn't seem to know it has changed locations. So all "HOME" settings like the opener popup and time based charging at home didn't work... a reset did un-freeze it and luckily i didn't need the navigation but it is something I feel should be addressed.

Adding my own: The gauge display that shows power/regen on each wheel freezes some times. The only way I've found to get it updating again is to stop and perform a reboot. ('23 R1S fwiw)

I have noticed what appears to be a level 2 charging bug. While plugged into my Rivian charger at home last night with a 46% SOC in 65 degree ambient temps, my ROC degraded to 7.1 KWh from 11 kWh. This left me without the full charge I needed and expected this morning. :-(

A few others have commented on this exact behaviour. Not sure if there was a cause or fix found yet?

Not new behavior, next time you see it go inside the truck and check the charge screen. You should see a message that reads something like charge derated because of warm plug.

Clean the AC contacts on your truck and the charger. Might not fix the issue but should improve it.
