Keep in mind VINs aren't entirely sequential. Why aren't we asking what the vin numbers are of the trucks with the cracked glass? We have the power to figure out is this a batch problem or not.

Hopefully that is something Rivian is doing as this is a safety related issue. Why aren't we asking what the vin numbers are of the trucks with the cracked glass? We have the power to figure out is this a batch problem or not.
As @CommodoreAmiga pointed out the VINs are exactly sequential and I'd add the fact that there's nothing to suggest that the glass roofs would be added sequentially either. I would be surprised if Rivian wasn't looking on the backend at their production data to see if there is any correlation among VINs that have reported cracking of the roof glass to identify batches that may be outside spec. Why aren't we asking what the vin numbers are of the trucks with the cracked glass? very true VIN and delivery date should at least narrow it down though.Keep in mind VINs aren't entirely sequential.
Keep the climate control on and the snow wont stick? ?I'm seriously concerned about this when we get a late fall / early spring wet snow dump. Not unusual to wake up and find 18+ inches on the cars/trucks (not so much with the "drought"). My SQ5 had a full length sunroof and I never thought twice about it cracking under the weight. The video with the girl breaking the sunroof is deeply disconcerting, along with these other shares of same thing. RECALL for sure - at least if Rivian wants to remain reputable. This is a serious safety hazard.
Also, has it been confirmed that the glass is made by Fuyao? That documentary on Netflix was "interesting" to say the least - not in a good way.
seriously. i dont think you should be standing on crossbars with wet flip-flops. surprised this didnt become one of those America's Funniest Home videos. not smart.Might I suggest a stool on the ground to stand on to clean it? That looks dangerous as all hell standing on a wet cross bar.
It's an adventure truck; he was having an adventure.Might I suggest a stool on the ground to stand on to clean it? That looks dangerous as all hell standing on a wet cross bar.
Hopefully they can get the supplier to fix this soon otherwise it's going to have to be fixed on a ton of cars....My roof cracked on its own. I didn’t touch it or put any weight on it.![]()
