This happens primarily at low speed and certainly was not always this way but is this fixable? Should I make a service appointment? I feel like something has rattled loose and it’s just annoying to drive with!!

I booked today and the first available appointment was September 28 which is about five weeks outMost of my rattles went away once temps got above 80, but that would be annoying for sure. Probably an easy fix by the SC…3-4 months from now. ?. Oh wait you are in Colorado so 3-4 days maybe? You guys seem to have a good service center.
Will do, booked for Oct 4th!Put in service request. Took me two tries but second time is the charm. There is a fix under the dash grill that needs to be done. Left alone it only gets worse.
My R1T had that issue too. Easy fix for the service department. It’s a known problem. This happens primarily at low speed and certainly was not always this way but is this fixable? Should I make a service appointment? I feel like something has rattled loose and it’s just annoying to drive with!!
Pretty sure this is exactly or similar to what Rivian itself is doing and I would have done it myself but was encouraged to go directly to service for this.I fixed this with a 6 x 1/2 by 1/4 thick piece of felt. I used a plastic trim tool to gently raise the edge shown in the picture then slipped the felt into the gap where it is invisible but raised the grille enough to stop the rattling.

My R1S had that issue they placed insulation in the center area,Not normal but common. Some have reported that service was able to fix it.
My tech told they reclipped the dashboard piece. You can see my top (front near windshield) dashboard flutter when the car is moving. Tech did ride along with me to confirm and it was rattling for the entire 7 minute ride. I used a Jeep duck to reduce the flutter and tied to slam the piece back in but that barely reduced the rattle. My R1T is in for the dash rattle fix as of today - he said it would only take a few hours. Service is really quite easy and look forward to it being fixed. He said it's a known issue, they essentially use double sided tape to fix it.
Can you share where you purchased the felt and what color? Thanks!Pretty sure this is exactly or similar to what Rivian itself is doing and I would have done it myself but was encouraged to go directly to service for this.
