Works perfectly fine for me. Gen 2 R1T. Sound quality for Atmos tracks is horrendous however. Amazon Music quality is far better

Mine is not working for the last week also... Just "loading content".

I've been scouring the web for any definitive solution and haven't found one. It seems like there's a group of us having this problem based on Reddit.
I hate to be captain obvious here but did you have a free trial for Apple Music that maybe expired? I had the same issue a few weeks back and forgot that I’d signed up for a trial that had ended. Just had to renew and was back up and running.

A lot of people, including me, are unable to play Apple Music if ATMOS (spatial audio) is enabled. It's been broken for months, shortly after they introduced it. Sounded GREAT though, for a while. Disable it and see if it suddenly works.

Feel free to tell me to close this thread of this discussion is already happening but I’ve been unable to play ANYTHING in Apple Music for a week or so.
I have connect+, lte is showing a strong connection and am based in Portland Oregon.

is it just me?
Loads Slow if at all simply gave up on it weeks ago.

mine works but on some songs it sounds like im in a mixing booth isolating instruments as certain freq are just not there...mostly the higher mid range 4k up. BT and Tidal are fine. seems it would be fixable in ota

Mine is solid. Been so for a while. I can navigate through the UI quickly and skip back and forth through playlists without it ever freezing. Connect+ in Orange County.

My early G1 R1T Meridian sounds amazing with Atmos...just pauses randomly. And often doesn't restart when entering truck.

Posted about the same issue at the beginning of the week after having spoken to Rivian about it.
had done both soft & hard reboots, but still spinning wheels. Hasn’t worked for me in 2 weeks now.
Rivian’s response was that they ‘knew about it’ & that there wasn’t a fix until the next update.

My mid-2023 R1S w/Rivian audio is sounding great with Apple Music, Atmos or regular, after I tuned to the settings someone with audio lab equipment posted here (can't remember name, but thank you).

One minor issue, one mid-level, and one that really needs attention:
1) Occasionally it demonstrates some odd crossfade in/out behavior going from one song to the next - the crossfading is fine, but sometimes accompanied with a little hiccup of the song, as noted by someone above.​
2) Most times the selected music resumes when I get back in the car, but sometimes it shows the song that had been playing, with grayed-out controls. It won't resume or skip forward or anything, you need to go to the Apple Music screen and make a new music selection.​
3) There is no way to request a song or playlist by voice input. This is a real miss. Alexa should be able to do it if you say "Play xxx on Apple Music" which is how it works on the echo dot we have at home - or you can just set it as default source in the Alexa app. Why can't we do the same in the Rivian? If I'm with my young daughter who likes to make requests, I go back to my old method of playing Apple Music from my phone on bluetooth and asking Siri, which works well but doesn't sound as good.​

Hasn't worked in weeks, spinning wheel, reboot and none of the work arounds fix it. However, if you drag the play bar to skip the first 5-10 seconds of the song, it will play, but it's not feasible and a terrible experience to have to do this for every song.

Had it playing the Apple Music feed based upon my musical listening habits. It worked very well up and back on I-15 between SoCal and Las Vegas, except for one area in which I have to guess AT&T service is sketchy.

It works when it feels like it.

When it doesn't I'm usually able to convince to it work for undeterminable amount of time.
