I'm wondering what other people who purchased EV Sportline accessories have experienced with their items.
I purchased their jack pucks with magnets. They were over $200 with shipping. The rubber gaskets prevented them from staying slotted into the vehicle. Once the gaskets were removed the magnets did their job. However, the magnets were all misaligned. The company agreed and sent me new pucks.
Then, I ordered the sunshield for the roof glass of the R1S. They come with suction cups and magnets to keep the shield from sagging. However, the heat causes the glue to melt and the magnets fall out of the suction cups. Also, the sunshield doesn't fill in the opening perfectly. There are a few small gaps along the edges.
Now, I'm thinking of ordering the rock sliders. I hear they get surface rust. I would hate to spend $1800 and 6 hours of my time to later find quality issues.
What are your experiences with these rock sliders?
