I don't disagree with you, but what irritates me to no end is taxpayers subsidize the oil industry to the tune of $20 Billion dollars a year for what experts overwhelmingly believe is almost no return and yet we are penalizing consumers who are trying to reduce their carbon footprint to make up for lost gas (polluting) tax revenue.All states will probably do this once EV's reach critical mass, just a matter of time.
How about we stop subsidizing Big Oil and use that money to offset the inevitable gas tax revenue loss when we increase EV adoption?
