Factory Tour Interest

How many people here would take advantage of factory tours if offered?

CS stated via chat they hope to start factory tours now that Covid-19 regulations in IL have been lifted. There is no definitive timeline, and plans could always change.

The tours would give people a chance to learn about Rivian and see the vehicles being produced. It would allow up close hands on time with Rivian Vehicles. It would not enable people to test drive the vehicles, but this may be the closest many people get to a Rivian before taking delivery.

We would also like to take a Rivian Factory tour. We would also be interested in taking delivery of our R1T at the factory when it comes off of the assembly line.

I’ve mentioned interest in a factory tour + time on their test circuit every time I interact with CS. They’ve consistently indicated it‘ll happen, just not as soon as they’d like given current circumstances.

I would take a tour, for sure. We'd make a weekend of traveling to the factory, and would hopefully finally see some of the colors (and the inside of the vehicles) we want to see.

I already diverted on a road trip just to stop by their Michigan office (which worked out well as we saw a bunch of them in the lot).

I think that poll is close but not quite what @ERguy is asking about since he didn’t mention delivery, just a tour. I think the poll would have been better if the question was
“Would you be interested in visiting the factory for a tour, delivery, or both?”
With choices of
“Not interested in visiting the factory“
”Interested in a tour only”
”Interested in delivery only”
”Interested in a tour and delivery”

My inlaws are close enough to the factory to make it worthwhile. But I'd love to get a drive around their test track / off-road test track too.

I would like to take a tour, donate 3 days working the assembly line, receive my truck, then spend a day ripping around the test track before taking a 1000 mile detour back home.

I would absolutely go for a tour. I'd even be willing to pay for a tour to offset the costs of staffing such events.

Add another tour interest. I'm a three hour drive from the factory and would absolutely take a tour. It would be awesome to actually see where my car will eventually be built.

Even better if I could spend some time inside the vehicle. I've never seen an R1T up close and I would love the opportunity to check it out, especially if I can see the different interior colors.

Being in North Carolina, I’ll have to make a road-trip regardless. Very interested in taking delivery and tour of the factory.
