Frequent urination incidents - how normal?

I've had my R1T since June 2023 and have already caught (on Gear Guard) 3 separate incidents of people walking up an urinating on my truck.

Most recent was this weekend in Portland. I'd post the video, but I'm sure it violates all sorts of Forum rules...it's pretty graphic. Guy just walks up to the front, pulls it out and lets out a nice 40 second stream.

Best one was a drunk girl when I was parked at a Smashing Pumpkins concert. She had to catch herself on to the truck so she wouldn't fall over.

How often does this happen? 3x for me, so I am averaging 1 urination incident every other month. Do people know they are being recorded? I had a Tesla for 3 years before the R1T and this never happened with that car.

Anyone else out there struggling with this?

i've had 2 recordings pop up at trailheads of people whizzing. thankfully not on my truck

Sounds like the SP concert event was random, your Rivian just happened to be at the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time??

Did the other two appear to be specifically targeted because you have a EV?

I would say yes, this most recent one was targeted.

We parked in a corner spot in an underground parking garage at the University of Minnesota for the Minnesota vs Michigan game. When we got back in the car, gear guard caught 3 college age dudes pissing in front of my car. Thankfully, they peed through the fence and didn't touch my car. That's as close as I get to this lol.

I can't tell you how often I come back to the truck from being just about anywhere and find someone's McDonalds bag in the back like it is a garbage can or something. Now that I have a tonneau cover that should stop at least....

I stopped watching the videos because I still get lots of gawkers and all they do is walk around it.

Haha. I was at a EA charger in a Walmart lot but it was like 3AM and they were closed. I thought about just doing it the whole time I was charging. luckily I could wait till the next rest stop on the highway after I hopped back on. It'll be sweet if they ever get chargers at the highway rest stops. Seems like a logical place.

One incident was in Seattle, most recent in downtown Portland, and the SM concert was this summer in Bend.

Downtown PDX? This checks out.
