Frequent urination incidents - how normal?

I've had my R1T since June 2023 and have already caught (on Gear Guard) 3 separate incidents of people walking up an urinating on my truck.

Most recent was this weekend in Portland. I'd post the video, but I'm sure it violates all sorts of Forum rules...it's pretty graphic. Guy just walks up to the front, pulls it out and lets out a nice 40 second stream.

Best one was a drunk girl when I was parked at a Smashing Pumpkins concert. She had to catch herself on to the truck so she wouldn't fall over.

How often does this happen? 3x for me, so I am averaging 1 urination incident every other month. Do people know they are being recorded? I had a Tesla for 3 years before the R1T and this never happened with that car.

Anyone else out there struggling with this?

Pretty sure you nailed it with "Portland" Where you have to wear a mask to go into a restaurant but you can shoot heroin anywhere.....

Well, the saving grace is the R1 can ford through 42" deep of water... or piss if necessary.

By comparison, my 16 year old can arc it like a fire hose vs. my weak dribble.

This is why I would never drive my R1T to a concert. It is disgusting for sure and people have no class. How hard is it to find an ally or a remote area or better yet......a restroom.

I assume the gear guard needs to be turned on to catch this? My question is, if the camera did not capture the Pee, did it really happen?
So, my not setting the cameras means my town has no rude pissers?

You must be visiting some pretty scummy bars without a working bathroom. Move up a bit and frequent a nicer pub. Remind me of a nightclub in Holland that had a problem with urinators peeing on the wall in an alley. They painted the walls with some kind of paint that was super slick so when willy was pulled out and started to sprinkle it hit the wall and sprayed back on the offender. Every one knew who was not using the bathroom. Found the article and here is the url.

I always thought that the PNW was more sophisticated. I was thinking that this type of behavior was more prevalent at 2:00 AM in the parking lot of a popular red neck roadhouse in the rural Florida Panhandle.

From their stickered hieroglyphics, I must presume that rednecks preferred vehicles of urination are either Ford or Chevy, whereas PNW “sophisticates” appear to be motivated by something else.

I've got a shower awning and a cassette toilet. Sure beats having to find a tree to pee on.
