I have been noticing that when I am at full lock (parking lots, going around traffic circles etc), the front tires seem to slip. It happens on dry but certainly more on wet roads. I have about 13K miles on the tires (22" bright) and they seem fine - no signs of excess wear. The tire pressures are at 48 psi and I dont see correlations with how warm the tires are from being driven. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have noticed that a few times. I thought it was from loose sand and rocks.

Yes, it's "normal". This is similar to what happens in a 4WD vehicle. The inside wheels need to turn at a different speed and it's not quite perfect, so things slip and lurch. As mentioned above, the Ackerman Effect. The next Rivian OTA .50 appears that it might address this? Not exctly a clear description. Rivian could have a bit more control on a quad motor than a typical ICE, since each wheel is driven independently.

Additional Improvements
  • Improved vehicle maneuverability at low speeds.

We had the S into the Service Center and replicated this with the tech on drop off. They determined it to be normal and no signs of concern with the vehicle.

I do not experience it with the T. I'm assuming the difference in wheelbase.

If you drive in Conserve mode you will notice less skipping.

I was worried that this might be a half shaft thing but sounds like I need to atleast give the next OTA release a chance before going to a service ticket (which will likely get me in sometime in 2025 :)).
