With some online sleuthing, I saw Discount Tire is feeding an f150 lightning page some info. As of February 28th, LT275/60R-20 tires are shipping to distributors, part numbers will be created, and then they'll be live on the website. It gets better...Toyo will be developing a 116XL version in the 2nd half of the year!

The EV version is making it's way to the retail side finally, but availability is sporadic at best. There was a very limited number available a few days ago, but now they're gone. Hopefully we will see more soon!

Best price I could find and they got them out pretty quickly. I called them before ordering, but they didn't have a lot of info on them since they're so new.

We just got back from a trip to the snow, sea level to 4500'. It was a fairly quick back and forth to have fun with the kids, so didn't get to fully put the Toyos through the paces. There was 6-8" of fresh snow.

To preface this, I had the non EV version in 35s on a Jeep before, C rated. I loved them, which is what made so curious about the EV version. These were pretty similar to what I've experienced before. They handled well, almost felt like they gripped the road a little more than the stock Pirellis, verging on oversteer. In the snow, there were no issues. I tried some steeper driveways just to see if they would slip. This may be a Rivian thing, but they had more traction than my Jeep. They did get just a little squirrely on an icy patch, but I was trying to see what it would do. Not a surprise, the Hakka LT3s felt better on icy pavement, but they would have felt fine if I took it in a straight line.

They do have a lower pitched drone than the stock ATs above 50mph. I don't mind it but ymmv.

Here's the stats on the trip. I didn't really pay much attention to the 15min efficiency.

I'm definitely pleased with them so far. I'm curious how they would compare to the Nitto Recon Grapplers, those were the other tires I was considering.

I am interested in the open country at3 to replace the stock 20 pirelli at’s in stock 275/65/20. Unfortunately there’s no ETA on that size. From what you can tell, are there noticeable differences to the AT3 EV version or do you think I’d be ok with the standard AT3 version?

The biggest difference I can see is the sidewall and shoulder. It's a slimmed down, less turbulent version. I'm surprised there's only a -2lb difference from the 60 vs 65 series. Is the extra silica really that heavy? I wonder if there would be a significant efficiency difference. If you try them out that would be a great comparison!
