Any else having an issue with the garage door not working intermittently? I notice a couple of times after coming home I go to press the garage door icon to open the door and nothing happens. I’m right in front so know it’s not a range issue. I then open the door with my phone app and then wait a bit and try again with the truck and it works. This has happened a few times already. I can ask Alexa to open the door and that works. So it’s an issue with the truck not sending a signal.

If you have not tried, restart the car?

or try another garage door to see if same happens.

I was having this problem recently and then yesterday it stopped working altogether. I erased the current opener and then reprogrammed it, and it’s worked fine since.

I just deleted it and reprogrammed, hopefully this will fix it. Not a big deal as I can use Alexa or my phone but I would like it to work as designed.

I have had this issue with openers that aren't the Rivian. Seems like every time I add a new device or car to the garage door opener I wind up going back and having all the other openers go back into program mode. I don't even have to relearn the code Just putting them in program mode sort of refreshes them and they all work again.

I find that I do not really hit the button long enough, especially if driving. If I hit it a second time seems to work, there is a spinning indicator on the right side of the button that is the feedback that the signal was sent.

Never once had this issue. In fact, the range on the opener is DOUBLE my clicker.

I do notice when the UI changes from Light to Dark Mode (or vice versa) that when I hit the garage button it doesn't work while it's going through that transition so I either have to hit it immediately when I exit the garage before it switches from Dark to Light, or I just have to wait for it to switch before the buttons are touchable.

Same issue, just started a few days back. Sometimes a long press does the trick. I haven’t tried deleting and adding the opener.

Same issue. Not a range problem. Tapping the named garage door I want to open/close simply doesn't work. I get a nice pinwheel/circle completing symbol when it does work as intended.

Had it fail once, was in tow mode at the time. After parking my trailer, next time I tried it, worked fine.

I guess this is a software related issue as a bunch of others are seeing this problem. Mine was working fine up until just recently. I would hit the button and see a spinning wheel but nada. Try again and nada. Then try it later on and it works again.

Just adding, have had the truck for a year and recently started getting about a 50% success rate (sometimes taking 3 hits). Glad this thread came up because I had assumed it may be interference or garage door antenna side issue.
