It seems a new breed is coming out of the woodwork, too: EV enthusiasts who hate on EVs that aren't efficient enough. So the F-150/R1T get hate from people who drive Leafs/Model3s on the basis that they're still "guzzlers" in the EV space.

I agree, you can see it in some forums. It's kind of sad. I understand an ICE being inefficient since it's using a finite resource. But if I can produce the electricity to run an EV truck why would anyone care? Seems dumb.

Perfect is the enemy of good. These folks may see it as a choice between a Model Y/Bolt EUV or a Rivian when it’s really a choice between, say, a Tacoma/Ranger and a Rivian.
