Halloween update yet yes or no?

We have 2 gen 1s ('22 T and '23 S) without connect+ and haven't heard anything. Glad I'm not paying for priority updates.

Going to add my voice to the those who are perennially confused why we have a 2 day Halloween update. My wife's favorite time of year is leading up to Halloween and she is Pissed that we will invariably get the post-Halloween Halloween update.

Yes, received last thursday. Gen2 w/connect +. It works fine, but i'm not as excited about it as i thought last years were better.

Got it and it seems to work for my Gen1 R1T, but I'm still asking "what's the point?" as all it seems to do is play spooky music on the sound system and play a swamp theme on the displays. It looks like eye candy for when you're just standing around your car.

I much prefer the update two years ago where they changed pedestrians and bikes to zombies and witches flying about on brooms. And I'll also take the change in music when locking and unlocking...

Have C+ G2 R1S. Wondered why didn't get updates yet. Last Friday, checked update screen in setup in car and noticed download "paused".

Where I park wifi is weak. Moved to location where wifi is stronger and connected to Wi-Fi. Was able to complete download (about 10 -15 minutes). Then it took about 30 min to prepare for update. Bypassed auto update time and manually updated.

Odd as I have c+ and see my phone comnected to car WiFi. Also not sure why no download when in area of connectivity. Maybe has something to do with auto install at 2am. 2am is usually parked in weak wifi area. Didn't have this problem with previous updates.

After update Halloween worked. Had to do soft reset though as Alexa stopped working. After that all good.

Something different every year and some are better than others. Last year was great but I still appreciate they do this.

I have a Gen 2 this year and there's more variation of colors with the segmented LED strips. Also interior lighting changes per door, overhead lights flash in a lightning sort of sequence that maybe isn't there on Gen 1.

Stupid bs actually proudly advertised on the vehicle screen after the update, I noticed. Quickly wiped that off. Such a total don't-care.

Granted I recently signed up for roamer this doesn't make me feel warm/fuzzy about seeing Halloween update anytime soon...

Gen1 T, no Connect+, didn't get it yet. Kids are bummed... Was a big hit at soccer practice last year and now soccer is over for the season. Bummer but life goes on

Installed the update, yet can’t get it to work

UPDATE: Did a reboot & now it works just fine.

im not sure about the external speakers. I think gen 1 has all the interior features and sounds but not the external. I know the lightbar has changed. There is an external volume speaker in app for the Halloween theme. I was able to turn it all the way up for the kiddos/neighbors. Everyone loves it.

Unfortunately, it stopped working. I voted my nephews over to check it out and it completely stopped working. Bummer
