Did you get the mini or standard size according to the web site?
Mini. With the medium sized inserts. It's a little loose, but the screws were too short to use the larger pads.

I wonder if this can be made to work?

I'll run no front license plate. I've ran no front plate in CA for 10 years and only ever had 1 ticket (in a target parking lot of all places).

When I got the ticket I attached the front plate through the grille with drywall toggle anchors, got the ticket signed off then removed the plate.

Wonder if that will work with the Good to Go toll sensor thing or if it would end up breaking it off.

What did you use for a backing? Great Idea and price is right.
I had a small strip of scrap aluminum that supports it. I can take more detailed photos and upload later if you'd like.

No that's cool it just looked like you had a stiffener in back of the plate. I can even do that. Thanks for sharing your idea.

Lol I did the same but with zip ties. For those who want to do this make sure to test the position so it doesn’t trigger the parking sensors and inadvertently have the car put itself into park.

@godfodder0901 taking inspiration from you I'm using those same mounts, but along with the Rivian provided mounting plate. Turn it up side down and it slots right onto the mount. Works really well. I put a bolt through to be extra secure, but you could use it as a clip-on without.

Looks really clean! The main reasons I didn't do that:
1. I was going for a minimalist look
2. I used the junk I found in the garage
3. I can contour the plate and mount to (hopefully?) reduce potential interference with the parking sensors
4. And the BIGGEST reason... I didn't even think to try!! Very creative solution my friend!

Have you noticed any sensor interference?

I have just over 5K miles and haven't noticed any issues so far.
Good to hear. I am going to go this route and store it- running without a front plate as long as I can. It is just ridiculous for states to require it, yet, you can drive around with only a single temporary in the back window or back plate area as long as it's valid and other state vehicles aren't required to obtain a front plate/temporary when entering the state- so what's the point ? (sorry, small rant)

Thanks Again !
